Region 2 DVDs Tue, 6 Sep 2005 20:53:03 +0100 200509062103-news Don't all shout but the region 2 DVDs have been put back until the New Year. This is due to everyone's heavy workload plus the fact there's some rather splendid extras lined up for both the complete box set and the seasonal sets, and we want to do it justice. Now you too can buy the saint's shirt... Tue, 4 Oct 2005 07:00:30 +0000 200510040801-news There are some things on Ebay that just leave me speechless. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ian-Ogilvy-Autographed-Letter-and-Shirt_W0QQitemZ4775694890QQcategoryZ201QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Needless to say I have absolutely nothing to do with this auction, but it did make me laugh... The Saint on ITV Mon, 17 Oct 2005 06:44:22 +0000 200510170745-news There's a rumor doing the rounds that ITV4 will be showing "The Saint" when it launches next month. As yet they've not formally released a schedule so this should probably be taken with a pinch of salt, however despite being targeted at "Men & Motors" they have said this channel will show some old shows so it may well be true. ITV4 will apparently be available free to air on satellite and digital terrestrial in the UK.

The Saint on DVD Mon, 17 Oct 2005 06:46:56 +0000 200510170747-news Just in case you've missed this it seems that Umbrella have postponed the release of The Saint volume 5 until March next year. This is their final release of the Moore show on DVD and I'm sure this delay has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that Network DVD may be releasing their DVDs around the same time. Coincidence, I'm sure.

Oh dear... Mon, 21 Nov 2005 21:06:23 +0000 200511212108-news Feel free to ascribe this to my warped sense of humor however I recently found this whilst browsing the net and couldn't wait to share it with you. http://www.frostbyterecords.co.uk/saintsong.html There's a very obvious reason why it didn't even make it into the Kilmer movie.

Saint christmas cards Thu, 1 Dec 2005 22:51:09 +0000 200512012253-news I make no apologies for reposting this, which made its first appearance around this time last year. I work in satellite TV and everyone knows that all you get on satellite TV is repeats... Long time members may remember the old 'Angel' Christmas cards that the Club used to sell many years ago (features a Saintly stick figure offering his halo to an angel). Well we've refreshed the picture, the background is a lively blue and the Saint logo a fresh red--and had a small print run done of them to see if there's any interest...Unfortunately due to various PC problems I can't post a scan on a web site but if you're interested e-mail me and I'll send you a jpg. Price is £1.30 per card (including envelope and P&P) or £6.50 for 6 (including 6 envelopes and P&P!)
